Our Programs

At The Amabara Allison Foundation (TAAF), our mission is simple yet profound: to restore hope, rekindle purpose, and rebuild lives. We are a humanitarian, non-governmental, and non-partisan organization committed to addressing pressing social, economic, and developmental challenges.

Our programs are designed to be practical, people-centered, and sustainable — ensuring that no one is left behind, no matter how broken, lost, or disadvantaged.

At TAAF, every program is a step toward dignity, empowerment, and justice. By addressing education, empowerment, health, human rights, and community resilience, we are not just providing aid; we are reshaping destinies and building a more inclusive future for Nigeria and Africa.

Areas of Our Work

At The Amabara Allison Foundation (TAAF), our programs are designed to restore hope, empower individuals, and build resilient communities. From education to health, from empowerment to advocacy, we create practical, people-centered, and sustainable solutions.

Educational Support & Scholarship Programs

Education is the most powerful equalizer. Through our Scholarship Scheme, we target:

  • Children of widows in the Nigerian Army, Air Force, and Correctional Service.
  • Young girls rescued from street prostitution, offering them a second chance through reintegration and psychosocial support.
  • Indigent and orphaned children in rural and underserved communities.

We provide:
  • School supplies (uniforms, books, materials)
  • Tuition grants and mentorship
  • Funding for tertiary education and vocational training

Our goal: eliminate the barriers that keep brilliant but disadvantaged children out of school.

Rescue & Social Reintegration Initiatives

We run specialized interventions for young women engaged in prostitution and sexual exploitation.
Our approach includes:

  • Outreach and rescue missions
  • Temporary shelter and psychosocial care
  • Access to counseling, mentorship, and trauma therapy
  • Reintegration into education, skills training, or job placement

Not only rescuing lives, but rebuilding them with dignity and purpose.

Women & Youth Empowerment Programs

Economic dependency fuels vulnerability. We empower widows, single mothers, and youth in underserved areas by providing:

  • Seed grants and small business support
  • Vocational skills training (tailoring, catering, cosmetology, agribusiness, crafts, tech)
  • Access to startup tools and cooperative platforms
  • Training in digital skills and market access

From dependency to self-reliance — and from survival to entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship & Innovation Development

Through our Entrepreneurial Department, we nurture creativity, innovation, and enterprise among Nigerian youth and women. We offer:

  • Business incubation and development support
  • Microcredit and cooperative financing
  • Financial literacy and branding workshops
  • Strategic mentorship with business professionals

Reducing reliance on charity by fostering a culture of enterprise

Health & Wellness Interventions

Health is a human right, not a privilege. TAAF delivers health programs that include:

  • Medical outreach campaigns in rural and conflict-affected communities
  • Free health services for widows, children, and the elderly
  • Distribution of sanitary kits to women and girls
  • Awareness programs on mental health, reproductive health, drug abuse prevention, and hygiene
  • Partnering with providers to support treatments for patients who cannot afford care

Because wellness restores dignity, and dignity restores life.

Advocacy, Civic Engagement & Human Rights

TAAF is a voice for the voiceless. Our advocacy initiatives include:
  • Campaigns against gender-based violence, trafficking, abuse, and exploitation
  • Civic education programs on leadership, governance, and accountability
  • Training youth on voter awareness, participation, and policy advocacy
  • Engaging media to influence public discourse and legislation

Challenging systems that normalize injustice.

Community Development & Humanitarian Aid

We believe in building resilient, self-sufficient communities through:

  • Food, clothing, and relief supplies for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), widows, and disaster-affected populations
  • Renovation of schools, clinics, and sanitation facilities
  • Provision of clean water, solar kits, and rural infrastructure
  • Hosting townhalls, empowerment fairs, and rural summits

Restoring dignity from the ground up, one community at a time.

Research, Learning & Monitoring

We hold ourselves accountable to the people we serve. That’s why we invest in:

  • Community needs assessments
  • Baseline and impact evaluations
  • Program audits and feedback systems
  • Documentation of success stories

Scaling what works, learning from what doesn’t.

Partnerships & Global Collaboration

No single organization can achieve lasting change alone. TAAF builds strong alliances with:

  • Government institutions and ministries
  • Local and international NGOs
  • Faith-based organizations
  • Private sector and CSR initiatives
  • Multilateral donors and agencies

Together, we can restore lives, inspire change, and build thriving futures.
